The selection of Honduras will close on Wednesday, September 8 in San Pedro Sula the triple elimination date heading to the ‘ World Cup in Qatar at the San Pedro Sula Olympic Stadium where the Federation is all set to receive at least 19,000 spectators after Sinager approved 50% of the capacity.
The match was initially agreed to start at 8:00 p.m., but the Federation has confirmed a last-minute schedule change and has been notified to CONCACAF and the United States Federation.
The meeting will be delayed by 30 minutes, now it will be at 8:30 pm, as reported by José Ernesto Mejía, the secretary of FENAFUTH.
Mejia explained that the sudden change in schedule is due to “transmission rights, at this time (8.30 PM) there is maximum audience,” the leader, who expects full support from the public, told San Salvador.
La Bicolor will be returning to San Pedro Sula on Monday after their match against El Salvador in Cuscatlán and will have two days of work so that coach Fabián Coit can finish his starting eleven.
