In February, Blizzard announced Devil II: resurrected for various platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Since then, there has been very little information about the remastering of this iconic classic.
Now, however, in a new update, the company has confirmed that its first technical Alpha for the game (for PC gamers) will begin this Friday and run until April 12th. It will give players access to acts I and II and allow them to select the class of the Amazons, the barbarians and the witches.
A FAQ on the same page confirms that console players will be included in future game tests:
Q: Why is the Alpha Technical PC just? Will console gamers be able to try Diablo II: Resurrected?
A: Diablo II: Resurrected will be released on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. We will include console players in our future gaming testing phase.
To make up for it, live performances of Technical Alpha will be shown on Twitch.tv and YouTube this weekend.
Frequently asked questions also mention how the technical alpha is only one player, it is observed how the final version of the game “will allow offline play” in single player mode, will include the “old game cinematics” as to bookmark Does not allow progress transfer and does not allow importing saved files.
While Blizzard says there is no “release date” right now, it promises to arrive in 2021. Do you want to return to the world of Sanctuary? Leave a comment below.
