Sophie Wessex has begun volunteering at a vaccination center during the closure to help deploy Covid-19 across the country.
The 56-year-old Countess of Wessex, who is the grand chairman of St John’s ambulance and a charity volunteer, joined on Thursday the helpers of a south-west London center after completing the their training.

She wore a green St John Ambulance T-shirt to mark herself as a volunteer and kept herself protected with a disposable face mask during her shift.
A St John ambulance spokeswoman said: “Like many of our existing and long-standing volunteers, the Countess of Wessex has completed the training needed to become a care volunteer in support of the NHS vaccination program. .

St John Ambulance is helping to deliver the NHS Covid-19 vaccination program and hopes to train around 30,000 vaccination volunteers by next spring.
