A mathematical study by Dr. Tom Crawford, a professor at Oxford University, Cristiano Ronaldo should be considered the best footballer in history
Manchester United and Portugal national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have been considered the best footballer of all time according to a study by Dr Tom Crawford, a professor of mathematics at Oxford University.
According to an algorithm created by Crawford, the former Real Madrid and Juventus player ranks first among the best players in history being the goals and titles of the most important aspects to take into account in the analysis of the mathematician.
In the list published by ‘livescore’, a place that went to Crawford to use an algorithm to determine the 10 most prominent players, Ronaldo meets 100% in all categories of the studio while Lionel Messi, second on the list , has 94%.
Interestingly, Diego Maradona, who is considered by millions of fans to be the best player of all time, ranks ninth on Dr. Crawford’s list. The ‘Pelusa’, World Champion in Mexico 1986, has 31% in the various categories of the analysis.
For his part, Pelé is in third place while Ronaldo Nazario is in fifth place. Figures such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, Andrés Iniesta and Xavi Hernández failed to enter the list of the 10 best footballers of all time.
