Can the PlayStation 5 run Crysis Remastered? Bet you can, in fact, better than ever with the latest Crytek update. A new update available today is the overall performance of the game, and while it maintains the same settings as the PS4 Pro version, you should see some significant improvements to the experience.
That is, the quality mode, which ran at 30 frames per second at 1800p on PS4 Pro, will now reach 60 frames per second on Sony’s next-generation console. You’ll also enjoy Crytek’s software-based raytracing solution at 1440p at 60 frames per second, though it’s worth noting that you shouldn’t expect the same level of reflections as native PS5 games such as Spider- Hand of Marvel: Miles Morales.
In addition to the PS5 enhancements, Crytek has also crushed a lot of bugs and added some new features, including a new level, Ascension, which makes its console debut here. A good upgrade for existing game owners, then, and it’s a free patch. Improved performance should only make this classic first-person shooter worth revisiting.
