Cuban comedian Andy Vázquez in ‘very difficult times’ after testing positive on Covid-19

Cuban comedian Andy Vázquez is in poor health after becoming infected with Covid-19, according to presenter and comedian José Carlucho during his show on Univista TV.

“I can’t have an interview on Skype, or Zoom, or on the phone right now, because of Andy Vázquez’s current state of health, who is not having a normal Covid-19, because he has very hard hit, “said Carlucho, who broke the news.

“The only thing that has made me make this public is the affection and feeling of all his teammates,” the visibly affected presenter revealed after showing pictures of Vázquez in the hospital.

“If at any time we have asked for help from someone to raise money (….) Today all I want to ask of them is a prayer to all for the re-establishment of Andy Vázquez, which is very necessary, it is given to love very much and it’s part of Univista TV, ”he added.

The presenter said he could not be sure Vázquez was watching The Carlucho Show these days, but he claimed he had all the medical care because they have done all the necessary coordination.

“It has hit him very hard and he is going through very difficult times. All I ask of them is that we pray for this Cuban, who came into exile like all of us who are here already to give away all his talent,” Carlucho concluded.
