Although no details have been given at the moment about the surgery that Maria de l’Refugi Abarca had to undergo, some local media have stated that she went to Country 2000 Hospital, where Vicente Fernández is, although others confirm that he is in the Royal Hospital San Jose in Zapopan, Guadalajara.

According to media reports, Dona Cuquita has been hospitalized since last weekend and on Monday 13 September she underwent surgery for a hernia in her abdomen.

It was said that the surgery would have been scheduled for another day, but due to the stress caused by the accident that Chente suffered, his health deteriorated and the operation had to be advanced.

It was reported that the surgery has had a good end and could be discharged on Wednesday 15 September.
