TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras.- While Hondurans remain in total uncertainty over the absence of results in the March 14 primary elections and the absolute silence of the National Electoral Council (CNE), a new incident adds to the list of incidents that call into question the legality of the process.
This Tuesday morning it was reported that there was a sabotage to the CNE system, as the motherboard cable of the Internet would have been cut off and in addition the general computer system hard drive would have been stolen.

This center was enabled within the facilities of the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFOP) in Tegucigalpa and remains in the custody of members of the National Police and Military Police of Public Order (PMOP).
People inside the computer center reported the irregularities and requested, through the media, the presence of authorities of the Public Ministryo (MP).
One of the first to speak was the presidential candidate for the Freedom and Refoundation Party (Free), Carlos Eduardo Reina, who wrote via Twitter: “They stole the hard drive of the scanner of events from’ @CneHonduras and cut the fiber optic rings “.

More than 40 hours have passed since the ballot boxes were closed and so far no official results are known. The CNE announced that scrutiny would begin as early as Monday night, as election suitcases were still missing and they had to move to a larger winery.
On the other hand, although the president of the governing body of the elections, Ana Paola Hall, assured that reports every two hours on the results and that the scrutiny would be carried out in the presence of the media and representatives of political parties, nothing has been fulfilled.
