There is now a mod available that allows you to play Cyberpunk 2077 in third person on PC, but keep in mind that while it works in the most basic and functional sense, it’s not something you’ll want to use for any real-time period.

The mod, created by Jelle Bakker, can be downloaded here. Allows the player to move the camera backwards Cyberpunk default first-person view and allows you to not only move, but more importantly, admire your dress in the third person.

It takes a bit of work to run and you need to enter a different code to … load your head. Once done, if you keep the movements slow and steady, it can look pretty good.

If you move faster, though, or more suddenly, things look a little less elegant.

That’s great, because yes The Wizard 3 (o Grand Theft Auto, o Assassin’s Creed, o Red Dead) have shown us anything, is that we prefer our open world games to be in the third person so we can see what we bring and get a better base around us.

But so is it no cool as this doesn’t really work as much of it Cyberpunk, from its combat to its cut scenes to the animation of the player’s own character, was designed from the beginning to experience it from a first-person perspective, so this modification is more than a occasional thing and not a completely new way to play the game.

If you want to try it, you can download it here.
