Formula 1 The world champion is technically without a team

Lewis Hamilton i Mercedes have formed a winning association in Formula 1 in recent years, but the English driver’s contact with the team expired when 2020 became 2021.
He reportedly wanted a four-year deal worth $ 50 million a year and that was approved by Toto Wollf, but CEO of Daimler Hello Kallenius he has stopped it.
This is according to Il Corriere Sport, which reports Daimler, the parent company behind it Mercedes AMG F1, I do not want to give Hamilton such a long deal.
With Hamilton to turn 36 in January, they only want to offer a two-year contract with an option for the third year.
This means that the seven-time world champion currently has no team. The new deadline to renew it, then, would be ahead of the tests in Barcelona, which will begin on March 2.
