Daniella Álvarez, on the beach, shows her prosthesis – Entertainment – Culture

Former queen and presenter Daniella Alvarez posted several photos on her Instagram, in which she is seen on a beach in Port Veler, in Barranquilla.

Wearing a two-piece green bathing suit, Alvarez looks very happy, even though he lost part of his left leg after last March.

At that time, she was operated on for a small tumor that appeared in her abdomen. The mass was very close to the aorta and this artery was affected, which prevented good blood supply to its lower extremities. Although several interventions were made, there was no solution and on June 13 the amputation was performed.

During this time, Alvarez has shown courage and resilience, appreciates his life and being with family, as well as the opportunities that have been presented to him, such as presenting the challenge, De Caragol.

And meanwhile, he shows off his full prosthesis in several photographs.

Recently, in addition, Alvarez explained to his followers that the nerves of the tibia and fibula of the right leg were completely damaged. “Electromyography showed he had a very serious knee injury underneath,” he said.

“(…) Although my right foot was in very good condition, it was not functional at this time and the doctors told me that with therapies, running and exercises it was safest to go to recover “. However, this has not been the case.

“Things are as they are and not as we would like them to be. This is the reality of life, but only when we believe in God do we have faith and hope do we understand that everything is going through something. Today I know what my life mission is and I understood that God is making the task a little harder for me to be able to show many people that what we have is more than enough to achieve what we set out to do.“, Miss Colombia 2012 wrote last December 7th.

However, he does not lose positivism and as he spends the last days of the year with his family, he writes: “I am here. I had dreamed of him since I was in the ICU. I just wanted that day to come when I would be enjoying the breeze, the sea, where I would forget all the hardships. This is the place where I never miss anything and guess what … IT ARRIVED !! “.
