The first three episodes of WandaVision they are now available to watch at Disney + and have had an exciting cast. One of the big names to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the new series is Debra Jo Rupp, who is best known for playing Kitty Forman in That show of the 70s. ComicBook.com recently spoke with Rupp about his sitcom days and revealed that he didn’t mind missing the 70’s episode of WandaVision. We also asked Rupp if he knew the Marvel movie universe before joining, and he told us how he went from not knowing anything to being too attached to certain characters to seeing him. Avengers: End of the game.
“I didn’t know anything,” Rupp said of the MCU. “I thought it was a cartoon, I thought, well, I knew comics were involved, but I’ve never been … science fiction isn’t my thing. It just has to be real, in front of me. In the same way about geometry. There’s nothing real about geometry. These are points on planes that I don’t care about. Therefore I knew nothing.I knew absolutely nothing.I just knew, you know, my great-grandson said, “Aunt Debbie , if you don’t, so I did it for him. Then I got there, I got involved and I’m amazed at how big the world is. I’m amazed at the fans and what they separate and what they, you know, I mean I don’t blame them because nothing is as it seems in the Marvel world, but it took me a while to figure it out. “
“We had the luxury of a week of rehearsal, which is actually how situation comedies are done. I mean, we did everything, it was how it was done. We did that. So we had a week of rehearsal before shooting.I learned a lot from Paul [Bettany] and Lizzie [Olsen]. And then they told me what movies to watch. And then I ended up seeing a whole bunch that they didn’t even tell me to look at because I got involved. I can’t see the last one, the End of the game thing, because I feel like the people I care about are dying. And so I don’t want any parts, no, it’s the age I’m now. I just want happy things. I don’t want to think about it. I just want happy things. So I can’t see it. I am very happy to be a part of this world. It makes me very happy. “
We also asked Rupp if it has been difficult to keep Marvel spoilers, as his usual projects don’t usually involve so much secrecy.
“No, because so few people knew I was there, so no one asked me. I was like, ‘Hello? “And really, honestly, with the secret that I know what I did. I mean, I never had a complete script, that is, I know what I did. So I made up a story around that. “Yes. See me.”
