Mexico.- This Friday, August 3, Àngel Humberto Chávez Gastelum, “Don Angel,” one of the most wanted bosses internationally, was extradited by Mexican authorities to the United States to be prosecuted for federal crimes charged with transferring tons of cocaine from South America.
It was last November 2018, when Chávez Gastelum was confiscated in the state of Querétaro by elements of the defunct Federal Police and the Criminal Investigation Agency. His hearing is now scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 7, at which he is scheduled to be tried for 22 charges linked to being the alleged head of a criminal organization dedicated to international drug trafficking.
