Actress Demi Moore made her debut on the surprise runway on Tuesday as she opened Fendi’s virtual presentation during the Paris Fashion Week haute couture shows.
The 58-year-old cameo saw her dressed in a strapless black silk dress with wide-legged pants, elaborate earrings and a dark clutch. He later went to Instagram to describe the moment as “fulfilling a teenage dream.”

The show also marked a debut for designer Kim Jones, who presented her first haute couture collection for Fendi since joining the label last September.
Succeeding the late Karl Lagerfeld as artistic director of women’s clothing and fashion, Jones lived up to an impressive collection of loose-flowing layers, bright evening gowns and androgynous masculine looks.
His Spring-Summer 2021 collection, with inspirations ranging from Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s baroque marble sculptures to Virginia Woolf’s 1928 novel “Orlando,” was revealed through a pre-video -engraved. For a soundtrack by composer Max Richter, the models toured the dramatically illuminated labyrinthine setting of the historic Palais Brongniart before resting in transparent boxes based on the “double F” monogram on the label.
Moore described the collection as a “beautiful and magical debut.” She was followed on the track by industry advocates such as Bella Hadid and Cara Delevingne. Also featured were iconic 90s supermodels Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington, while Moss’ daughter Lila Grace, 18, was another surprise addition to the star formation.

“Thanks to the wonderful cast that made this happen as true friends and family,” Jones wrote on Instagram after the show. “I love you all!”
While Moore is known for her sense of style and for appearances on the covers of fashion magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Wednesday’s show marked her first major concert on the track. She arrives a few months after her cameo in a video of Rihanna’s underwear brand, Savage x Fenty, where she was seen in a black tights.
The Hollywood star has already been dressed by Jones. She put on Dior, where Jones also serves as the male creative director, for a brilliant photo book, which celebrated its first year on the French label, which was published in October 2019.

With Covid-19 restrictions limiting travel and complicating physical parades, labels have been finding new ways to showcase their creations. Fendi was one of the houses that presented online collections as part of this year’s haute couture week, digital only. The Spring-Summer 2021 shows run from 25 to 28 January.
