Denzel starred as the driver in the film adaptation Fences, Which won her first Oscar for Viola Davis. They both won Tony Awards for their performance in the play. Great everywhere!
In an interview CBS Sunday morning, Talked about working with Denzel Chadwick, and shared his advice on his relationship with his then-girlfriend Simon Ledward.
According to him, Simon Chadwick was settled while working on the film. Chadwick was being treated for colon cancer, which Denzel was unaware of at the time.

“I was watching how she took care of him, and I actually told him, ‘Man, you know, you have to put a ring on that finger,'” Denzel said. “She kept an eye on him, and she looked at him. I said, ‘Man, she loves that guy.’

Chadwick and Simon were very personal about their relationship, so it would be very awkward to ask someone who has seen their love for the first time.

The couple got engaged in October 2019 and got married before he died.
While studying at Howard University, Denzel was asked about Chadwick’s return to an acting project, and he said he felt it was his responsibility.

“It’s our job to cross the stick and share what we know. It’s my job, this is the way I look at it. I can’t take it with you, so leave everything you can do here.”
Denzel said of Chadwick: “He did what he was given to do.” He left it here for us to enjoy. Chad will live forever, time. “
