According to Nidia Díaz, of the FMLN, the Assembly resolved in accordance with the request made by the Attorney General, Raúl Melara, to strip Arriaza Noies of his jurisdiction as Deputy Minister of Security, but he detailed that , even if the courts have exonerated him, his “disobedience to the Constitution will go down in history.”

Faced with this, they certified to the Public Prosecutor’s Office that Arriaza Noies had “usurped functions” and that there was “procedural fraud”.
For his part, the deputy Raúl Beltrhán Bonilla, from the PCN, assessed that the resolution of the director of the Police who favors it “is the law and must be respected. It is the decision of the judge, well in right, it must be respected as such. “
The Fifth Justice of the Peace of San Salvador dismissed Arriaza Noies in arguing that the order issued by the Assembly to urgently bring the Minister of Finance had no factual and legal arguments.
After hearing the resolution, the Prosecutor’s Office also considered that it was due to procedural errors of the Assembly in this case.
