Bungie finally revealed Destiny 2‘s Witch Queen today, it looks like that’s exactly what the game needs, though it won’t be released until February 22, 2022.
Witch Queen will focus on Savathûn, the god of cunning and the deception of Hive, and will see players explore their World of Thrones as they finally try to confront the Destiny villain who had hitherto been confined to the shadows. Savathûn is very real, however, very high, and it seems to be perfecting itself to become one of the game’s most climatic enemies in recent years, with the ability to strangle the traveler’s light.
The new annual expansion will feature a new type of Glaive weapon with melee combos and projectile attacks, as well as two new dungeons that will arrive throughout year 5. Even bigger: Destiny 2 he finally gets a crafting system. We don’t know much about how it will work, but players will be able to make their own weapons and upgrade them over time. If before it wasn’t a complete MMORPG, it sure will be now. Witch QueenThe story campaign will also feature a new difficulty system that will expand to the size of your fire team and begin the shift to the new, more customizable Stasis subclass system, starting with Void.
There has been a lot of speculation about this Witch Queen since Bungie made the unprecedented move to announce it for a year early last summer, when it sparked the upcoming expansions of Destiny 2 as part of a cohesive mini-trilogy. The rumor mill went into excess this summer after the arrival of some great presumed leaks which, if true, would convert the Destiny universe in the head, and today Bungie has confirmed that some of them were more accurate.

Savathûn’s offspring will not only be deadly, as his hive will wield its own ghosts, artifacts that were previously thought to only be available to the heroes of fate. Based on the trailer, it looks like these new Hive enemies will follow a class system very similar to Warlock, Titan, Hunter where players are leaked.
Usually Destiny 2the next annual expansion would be just a couple of weeks away, but repeated delays throughout the covid-19 pandemic, they have drastically changed the overall schedule of the live service game. Last year Beyond light it didn’t arrive until November, extending the arrivals season for a couple of extra months. And with Witch Queen will not arrive until next year, it will be interesting to see how Bungie manages the steady stream of updates that follow today’s presentation of season 15. The study said Trials of Osiris will receive a new anti-cheating update on Sept. 10 and solo queues, while the Bungie 30th Anniversary special content package will be released in December.
The stations arriving during the traditional annual expansion have tended to be a bit sparse compared to some of their mid-year counterparts. Hopefully Season of the Lost will take a while and can continue to build up Witch Queen Is it worth it.
