Destruction of AllStars, the exclusive PlayStation 5 derby game, will soon sell for $ 20, according to developer Lucid Games announced today: a $ 50 drop from the original price of 70 game stickers.

Last September, during a digital showcase, Sony announced that some PS5 games would cost $ 70, a noticeable increase over the standard long price of $ 60. One of these games, Destruction of AllStars, was initially slated for a PS5 release title, but yes pushed back three months in October. In February, it was made available to PS Plus members at no additional cost. Unlike most “free” PS Plus games, it would stay that way for two months, instead of one.

Once the PS Plus two-month period ends on April 6, Destruction of AllStars will sell for $ 20.

Destruction of AllStars was affected by some launch issues, most notably the fact that the party chat was enabled by default with there are no options within the game to disable it. Beyond that, voice chat was streamed through this tiny speaker on the face of PS5 controllers. (I know. Criminal.) An initial review addressed the issue, allowing players the option to close other players.

Only for game merits, Destruction of AllStars it’s pretty fun in bursts, and it feels a bit like other online games that experienced an increase in popularity from moments of zero-dollar sticker prices. (See: Autumn boys, Rocket League.) It also offers microtransactions. I, for example, would not be surprised if, I like Rocket League before, the $ 20 price of the game drops to $ 0 sometime in the future.
