© NintendoSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is the first major version of Nintendo Switch of the year and arrives on February 12th.
While we’ve already heard how 3D World will work much faster compared to the original Wii U version, it looks like there are now several outlets that have shared information about the frame rate and resolution that gamers can expect in both games.
Here is the summary, courtesy of Nintendo Everything. It is worth noting that the resolution of Bowser’s Fury in docked mode can be higher than 720p (the source does not clarify the docked and hand differences).
Super Mario 3D World
– 1080p, 60 fps (coupled)
– 720p, 60fps (portable)
Bowser’s Fury
– 720p, 60 fps (coupled)
– 720p, 30 fps (portable)
In order to compare it, the original 3D World game on Wii U was 720p, 60fps.
While the above details are enough to give you an idea of how this next version of Switch will work, once again, the resolution of Bowser’s Fury in docked mode is not yet fully confirmed. If I were a little taller, I would be more than welcome.
