Apex Legends today is officially on the switch and, as you may have heard, will offer crossover games, allowing you to face players from other systems.

So what will it be like for Nintendo players in battle? During a talk with Famitsu, Panic Button technical director Andy Boggs said the game would work 720p docked, 576p in hand mode and has a frame rate of 30 FPS in both modes.

While a lot of effort has been put into the Switch version of the game, in battle: competitors on other platforms could have twice the frame rate, if not more. While there may be some performance limitations, Andy told Nintendo Life that there were no sacrifices or commitments regarding features or content:

“Not really in terms of features or content, everything in other versions of the game should be in Switch. I think the big challenge for us is always to come and understand what parts of the game we can adapt and do. changes and optimize and what parts are so essential that we have to leave it alone.I think that ultimately the changes we have had to make will not affect the players experience with it.It is still a fantastic experience and it feels like playing in Apex. “
