The NBA announced that Phoenix Suns escort Devin Booker will replace Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis in the All-Star Game. State Farm Arena of Atlanta on Sunday, March 7th.
This is Booker’s second consecutive All-Star selection, the first two of his career, and he joins teammate Chris Paul to give the Suns 2 All-Stars this season. This is the first time the Suns have selected several players as All-Stars in the same campaign since 2010, when Steve Nash i Amar’e Stoudemire they obtained the distinction.
In his All-Star debut last season, Booker scored six points in 19 minutes while teaming with CP3 in the LeBron Team.
The Suns have the fourth-best record in the NBA, as their 20-10 start is the team’s best in 30 games since 2007-08. Booker leads the franchise with an average of 24.7 points per game and is currently shooting 50.1% from the field, the highest of his career.
