Ciara has been appointed to host the West Coast party for the third year in a row New Year’s Eve by Dick Clark, Rockin ‘Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021.
The singer will be accompanied by Paula Abdul, Kelsea Ballerini, Blanco Brown, Dan + Shay, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Megan Thee Stallion, Anthony Ramos, Salt-N-Pepa and SHAED as performers of the event.
YouTube returns as a sponsoring presenter and will produce special content with the best YouTube trends and stories of 2020 during the live stream. New Year’s Eve by Dick Clark, Rockin ‘Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021 will be broadcast live on Tuesday, December 31, 2020 from 8:00 PM EST on ABC Television.

This year marks the 48th anniversary of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve special and will include 5 and a half hours of performances and reports on New Year’s Eve celebrations around the world. In addition to Ciara on the West Coast, Ryan Seacrest will continue to host the early 15-year-old festivitiesth year and lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square to New York City, along with co-presenter Lucy Hale.
Emmy, Tony and the Grammy Award-winning actor, singer, director, songwriter and playwright will host the 4thth annual celebration of the central time zone from New Orleans.
In addition, country artist Jessie James Decker will unveil the first first millionaire of the year in Powerball during this year’s live broadcast. Decker will provide live updates on the first Powerball Millionaire of the Year party via ABC’s live stream and the revelation announcing the winner will air just after midnight on January 1, 2021.
Times Square and New Orleans performances will be announced in the coming weeks.
