Rumors that Dale Moss may have tricked former “Bachelorette” Clare Crawley into a “mysterious woman” named Eleonora Srugo have been swirling around the Internet this week.
While Srugo has vehemently denied having been romantically involved or dating the former NFL professional, a photo taken in downtown Cipriani in early November first sparked speculation that the couple were more than friends.
However, sources close to Srugo said Friday exclusively on page six that he only ran into Moss, 32, in the hot spot of Manhattan and that he actually had a date.
“These references to a dinner at Cipriani are false,” his rep, Ronn Torossian, told us. “Ma’am. Srugo was with a boy and a group of friends who saw Cipriani. It’s just not true.”
His publicist added that real estate agent Douglas Elliman “is focused on his real estate career” and “is never connected to Dale and [they] more dated. She was there with someone she was dating at the time. “
E! News previously reported that the outing “definitely looked like a date” and “Dale looked very smiling and happy with her. They laughed and flirted.”
However, a source told Page Six that Srugo was sitting at a different table that night and that she was not one of the women appearing next to Moss in the photo circulating online. The woman sitting next to Crawley’s ex-fiancé is said to be model Brooks Nader, who is married to Billy Haire.
Earlier in the day, paparazzi captured photos of Moss, Nader and Rachel Hilbert grabbing lunch in New York and attending a Hugo Boss event. It appears that the group went for drinks in the center of Cipriani, where Moss met Srugo.
“Don’t go to Cipriani if you cheat,” a source said. “Go see it.”
We are told that Moss and Srugo only exchanged a quick greeting and a farewell.
Torossian told us beforehand: “They have never been involved in any way. Eleonora was thrilled with her commitment and wishes her all the best. “
Meanwhile, Crawley and Moss have not commented on the alleged scam scandal.
The former couple announced that they were breaking up after a five-month engagement and a whirlwind romance.
Moss wrote in a statement about the split: “We appreciate the love and support we have received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us right now. We just hope for the best for each other. ”.
At the time, Crawley seemed blinded by Moss’ “mutual” statement, which he wrote on Instagram: “The truth is, I’m crushed.”
In season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” Crawley and Moss got engaged after a few weeks.
Representatives from Moss and Crawley did not immediately return our requests for feedback.
