Lucasfilm has announced two new Star Wars TV shows: Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic, and Star Wars: Ahsoka, both of which will be The Montalorian’s spinoffs. Both shows will cross over with future seasons of The Montreal, culminating in a “climactic story event”. Disney has not yet released further details about the two new projects, but Rosario Dawson is set to return to reconsider his role as live-action Ahsoka Dano. Both series feature a number of new Star Wars shows coming to Disney Plus in the future, including Star Wars: Andor, Obi-Wan Canopy, Star Wars: Lando, The Azolite, Animated Clone Wars Spin-Off The Bad Patch, and Anime Anthology Star . Disney has not yet said when to expect the New Republic Rangers or Ahsoka, but teased that the “next chapter” of the story will launch at Christmas 2021.
