Dodgers: David Price would be out of MLB 2021

David Price made the decision not to play during MLB’s 2020 Season, which was his first campaign with the Los Angeles Dodgers. His absence was due to the pitcher not wanting to risk his health or that of his family to a coronavirus infection (COVID-19), as the situation was critical. And although he was expected to see action next campaign, reports say that David Price could not play with the Dodgers in 2021.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed Thursday, Dec. 17, that there is no guarantee that David Price will pitch with the team next year. The helmsman suggested that the pitcher still feels uncertain about the situation of the coronavirus pandemic.

“David is very much in tune with what is happening. He is very smart. As things became clear, David will make a decision for himself and his family,” Roberts told Bill County Plunkett of the Orange County Register.

Recently, David Price said, via Twitter that “the plan” will be re-launched in 2021, in response to a fan questioning the issue. But it seems that the increase in virus cases in some coronavirus cities is already causing it to change its decision.

During the 2019 campaign, with the Boston Red Sox, David Price achieved a 7-5 record in wins and losses, as well as a 4.28 ERA in 22 openings. In addition, it put to 128 opponents and it only gave away 32 bases by balls in 107.1 entrances of work.
