The Los Angeles Dodgers have been very active in this MLB winter market and even more so in the changes with the relief workers, as early in the morning this Friday they sent left pitcher Adam Kolarek to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for two prospects. They have now accepted another transaction for one of the important members of the bullpen of the World Series champions.
According to information from Jeff Pass of ESPN, the Los Angeles Dodgers have accepted a change from the Miami Marlins to reliever Dylan Floro in exchange for reliever Alex Crossing and another prospect who will be named later.
Dylan Floro has been in the Dodgers since the middle of the 2018 season, when he arrived instead from the Cincinnati Reds. In two-and-a-half seasons in Los Angeles, Floro racked up an 11-4 record, with a 3.10 ERA and won the 2020 World Series with the Blues.
Instead, the 24-year-old made his debut in the 2020 campaign with the Marlins and did not do well enough in his first major league season, as he threw 4.1 innings and allowed 9 net runs, raising the its effectiveness up to 18.69.
