Dolphins fans receive a well-deserved shout at “Good morning football”

Congratulations, Miami Dolphins fans. You have already officially reached the top of the fans. NFL and “Good Morning Football” network personality Peter Schrager posted a mock draft earlier this week; a mockery that saw the Miami Dolphins write a bit of a surprise at No. 6 overall. With several outstanding pass catchers still on the board, Schrager’s simulation saw Dolphins draft Northwest offensive attack Rashawn Slater, an angle off the wall that left many Dolphins fans eager to give Schrager a piece of his mind.

And today, Schrager has taken to the stage of ‘Good Morning Football’ and credited the Dolphins for their passionate response.

“I’ve never received responses like those from Dolphins fans yesterday,” Schrager said.

“I’m not saying that from any fan base.”

If we’re honest, the reviews, at least the ones with good taste, were well deserved. Slater, as the second qualified offensive attack of this draft, would be an incredibly redundant selection amid the 2020 investments of the attacking team. At the very least, you could build a potential argument for offensive attack Penei Sewell as the best player available in the draft if he fell to No. 6 overall, but Miami would switch back from No. 12 to No. 6 in order to make the his third offensive offense in the top 40 of the last two NFL drafts would be incredibly wasteful.

The decision would be even more blatant given the presence of Kyle Pitts and Sewell on the board on Schrager’s stage. Something you can bet on Dolphins fans? If they don’t like your selection, they’ll let you listen to it. Schrager discovered the hardest path this week.
