Former President Donald Trump released another press statement on Friday, which punctuated his falsely full throw on election fraud with unexpected wishes for Easter joy.
“Why every time the 2020 ELECTORAL FRAUD is discussed, Fake News Media constantly finds that these charges are unfounded, unfounded, unjustified, etc.?” the statement was read. “Unfortunately, there was massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election and a lot of very angry people understand that.”
“Every day that passes and, unfortunately, for the radical left CRAZIES, more and more facts come out,” he added. “Other than that, happy Easter!”
As Trump no doubt knows, election security officials, international election observers, state and federal courts, and his own Department of Justice have determined that there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election.
Social media users also realized that Trump launched his message the same day a vehicle attempted to breach Capitol security and caused the death of a police officer and the driver. Not once did he mention the attack.
Trump, who once said COVID-19 would have “miraculously” disappeared in April 2020 so that the United States could return to normalcy by Easter, has issued similar strange weekend wishes. Last year he joyfully announced the day commemorating the crucifixion of Christ by tweeting, “HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!”

Since Twitter banned him, the former president has publicly stated that he prefers his “smarter” press statements to the social network he used non-stop.
But Twitter users still took the opportunity to make fun of it. “Apart from that, Happy Easter” started tending to the social media platform.
