Bandai Namco kicked off its Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event on Saturday with the help of Gogeta SS4, the next DLC character Dragon Ball FighterZ. This version of Gogeta coming to the game will soon have its first gameplay demonstration showing off its normal moves, some combos and some of its most powerful moves that should seem familiar to fighter fans. The release date of Gogeta SS4 has not yet been announced, but Bandai Namco assured viewers that the information would be shared at the end of the event.
The Battle Hour event, which will take place over the next few hours, is currently taking place, meaning Bandai Namco has yet to upload the game from the storefront. The GamersPrey YouTube channel fortunately uploaded the images, which means that if you didn’t see the game when it appeared during playback, you’ll still be able to recover what you missed. This gameplay demonstration can be seen below and begins with a quick overview of his moves followed by a showcase of his Supers before he delves into combos and other tactics.
As is the case with any character, the Gogeta SS4 Supers are some of the most interesting parts of the fighter’s arsenal. Similar to Adult Gohan, this version of Gogeta has a leveling system that allows you to advance to the maximum level 7. During the showcase, it was explained that each of the levels gains .25 advances in its skill meter. and increases the damage of your next level 1 or level 3 attack.
One of the most impressive uses of this leveling ability was the demonstration of how it affects your level 3 ability. Without leveling up, the base move caused 4,186 damage to the demonstration. When leveled to level 7, the damage increased exponentially. The same movement after its feeding caused 19,980 damage and overthrew the SSGSS version of Gogeta in a single explosion.
He Dragon Ball FighterZ showcase arrived long before the ads pledged to share at the end of the show, so it’s clear that there will be more to announce throughout the Battle Hour event. If nothing else, be sure to sign up at the end to see what the final ads are and get a recap of what you missed.
