Drake’s new album, We certified lover, is breaking important records on streaming platforms.
According to Apple Music in an Instagram post on Friday (September 3), Drizzy’s club it broke its own record of the most transmitted album in a single day. What Apple Music is referring to is that Drake broke the one-day broadcast record in 2018 with his fifth album Scorpio. The LP garnered more than 170 million broadcasts in a 24-hour period. The album would eventually reach 1 billion worldwide broadcasts in a week.
Apple Music has not yet officially announced the broadcast totals, but it must be huge for them to make an announcement so soon.
Besides, club “Girls Want Girls (feat. Lil Baby)”, “Champagne Poetry” and “Fair Trade (feat. Travis Scott)” are the three biggest song debuts on Apple Music’s platform, surpassing Nonstop “by Drake. Besides, club reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s top album charts in 145 countries on its first release day. All this comes when Drake sneaked an unheard of Kanye West song with André 3000 called “Life of the Party” during his stage as a guest DJ at SiriusXM’s So 42 early morning radio program on Saturday morning (September 4).
The song features Yeezy making a cautionary warning to Drizzy while Three Stacks makes a heartfelt message to Kanye’s mother, Mrs. Donda West, in honor of her late mother Sharon Benjamin Hodo.
