At the moment, Sony only sells PlayStation 5 and the DualSense controller that comes with it in one color: black and white. However, if you’re dying to inject a splash of color into your own gaming life, now there’s a new way to do it without breaking the bank.
The third-party company Decor Evolve has now made available a handful of new driver covers for the PS5’s DualSense. The covers come in ten different colors, including gold, silver, orange, red and various shades of blue to name a few. As for the operation of these covers, they simply stick to the front section of the DualSense and add color to the bottom black of the controller.
Perhaps the best part about these DualSense covers is that they are also pretty cheap. Decor Evolve only sells each cover for $ 9.99 for savings, which is a pretty fair price overall. Also, if you decide to buy four of the covers in total, you will get a 20% discount on the total order. On the other hand, buying two lids can mean a 10% discount.
While these covers do nothing but add color to the DualSense driver, they are a good starting point for now. In the future, Sony will surely end up launching other DualSense that will be distributed in different color combinations, but until that day arrives, these boards are almost the best.
The most interesting thread to follow will come with regard to Sony. So far, the PlayStation maker has shown that it is not a fan of third-party companies trying to sell PS5-related products. That said, it’s hard to see them taking any action against Decor Evolve. Given that the company sells nothing but plastic skins, it is unlikely that Sony will be able to do anything to close sales.
