Duval County has surpassed 50,000 corona virus cases

Jacksonville, Fla. – 533 new cases of corona virus in Duval County The state health department said Sunday, bringing the county’s total number of cases to 50,230 since the outbreak began.

There were 533 additional cases in Dowell County out of 8,958 cases nationwide Sunday by the Florida Department of Health.

According to the Department of Health, 1,125,931 people in Florida have tested positive for COVID-19 since the outbreak.

On Sunday, the Department of Health reported 84 additional corona virus-related deaths, including five in Duval County.

Since March, there have been 20,133 viral-related deaths in Florida.

Florida and Dowell County daily cases have been reported since June 1st

As of 3:45 p.m. Sunday, 4,687 people in Florida had been admitted to hospital with a primary diagnosis of COVID-19, according to the state agency for state health administration.

The statewide positive rate based on Saturday’s test was 7.89%, the health department said Sunday. The main factor determining the social spread of the virus was a positive rate not less than 6.22% per week.

A White House Corona virus task force report recommended that Florida take drastic measures to slow the spread of the virus, including increasing the physical distance by reducing the ability to wear a mask at all times in general, or closing indoor spaces in restaurants and bars and controlling crowds outside instant homes. The December 6 report, received by the Center for Public Integrity, urged leaders to start warning about the dangers of gathering during the December holidays.

Florida Gov. Ron Desantis has rejected a mask order aimed at further controlling trade or preventing the spread of the virus.

Among all states, Florida has the 41st new lawsuit per 100,000 residents and the 33rd highest positive lawsuit, according to the December 6 report.

“The rankings are almost irrelevant as the whole country is rising,” the report said.

Two newspapers last week sued the management of Desantis for failing to publish weekly reports on corona virus conditions in the state of Sunshine, which was joined together by the White House Corona virus task force.
