Days after the photo went viral, Dwayne Johnson tweeted, “Wow, the guy on the left is so much cooler. Be sure brother and thank you for your service. One day we’ll drink teremana.”
Teremana is a tequila brand founded by Johnson.
Alabama Police Officer Eric Fields went viral after the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of Fields on Facebook.
“It’s great that Rock looks like the real hero, Lieutenant Fields!” One person wrote.
“It can go through my house, I have to confirm that it also looks like rock,” one woman commented.
“Sure, you can smell what the rock cooks,” wrote another.
According to the Alabama news newspaper, AL.com, Lieutenant Fields has worked for 17 years with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in various roles.
“I’ve been called the loving son of The Rock and Vin Diesel,” Fields told AL.com. “I’m going with her. It’s fun. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.”
