It could be EA’s dormant franchise The edge of the mirror be coming back? That’s the question some fans asked themselves after a recent Electronic Arts tweet hit the Internet. While there is nothing specific about the message indicating that there may be a renaissance of any kind, it is quite rare for it to occur as EA has not talked about the series in years at the moment.
The tweet in question was shared with EA’s account from the France region, where he shared a blurred image of one of his games. Written in French, the title asked fans if they knew what game the image was from. Based on the iconic red gloves that could be clearly seen in the image, the answer was obviously that of The edge of the mirror.

While this tweet could have been absolutely a fun way for EA to try to interact with fans, others found it strange for the editor to present The edge of the mirror like this. Some internet users immediately began to wonder if this tweet could be specifically the first joke of a future delivery to the The edge of the mirror series.
In all likelihood, however, this is certainly not the case. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, which is the latest entry in the franchise, released in 2016. However, the game did not work very well in terms of sales. Not to mention, he was also not as well received as his predecessor. Altogether, watch EA play another game in the The edge of the mirror the series seems pretty unlikely.
However, this does not mean that we will never see it The edge of the mirror return to any capacity. If nothing else, maybe a remaster or remake of the first game could occur sometime in the future. However, if that happens, it doesn’t seem likely that this tweet is an indication of what is happening.
