Eat healthy, take care of your beauty and well-being

I was recently in my job as a beauty and wellness professional when a client commented on a certain diet she had been doing for some time, a diet designed by herself. Later, in the conversation itself, she added how much she had lost weight but also alleged about how upset her body had been, to the point that she now failed to gain “not an ounce” according to her.

Friends, we often have some dissatisfaction with our body figure and give ourselves to the task (insistently) of “solving the problem”. What’s worse is that this behavior of wanting to transform something in our body, in truth, is only justified by the fact that this characteristic does not match the ideal of beauty that we have in our mind at this time. And I say at this time because the ideals or references of beauty in each person tend to vary over time.

The sad thing is that stubborn in our goal of “looking better,” we often attack our health. Of course, in the case I was commenting on, I am not against diets but I do not approve of the irresponsible and unintelligent behavior of designing a diet to follow when one is not professional in the subject and is not even investigated.

People often think that the big problem is in the amount of food that someone ingests in their daily diet and therefore the solution would be to decrease this amount radically.

But we focus so much on quantity that we forget an extremely important element: quality. It is true that an excessive and uncontrolled amount of food is not advisable for our health or for our physical appearance but it is also true that even if you eat less, but eat “poison” food then the damage can be worse.

It is true that life is hectic and anxiety alongside stress make it easy for many people, nor do I deny that in this unbridled dynamic coupled with the availability of certain fast foods that we can find available to all, they believe the perfect conditions for many people to ingest food that, while not poison, is far from healthy for beauty and less so for well-being.

Friend and friend, in matters of healthy eating culture, no doubt, much of the population is very lacking in knowledge and serious information. I would like to contribute a little in this regard in order to help us understand that not only the quantity, but also the quality of what we eat seriously and silently attacks our well-being.

I want to share some little tips given by experts in nutrition issues so that, little by little, they take important steps in favor of you, your beauty and your well-being:

first if you are one of those people who likes to add a little sugar to food and processed, then experts suggest you replace it with bee honey and if there is no other, then opt for unrefined sugar which is always less harmful than refined.

Second, it is a very common method to fight with anxiety consuming ultraprocessed foods. It is true that it is tempting, in times of restlessness or waiting, to buy a small case or cartridge of fried or industrial pastry. However, doing this does not solve the anxiety and if it is compromising your health little by little. If you need to “chop” something to eat to deal with anxiety when you are on the street then you better opt, for example, for foods like peanuts in bulk. This way you receive a good dose of energy, calm your anxiety and do not pay attention to your well-being.

third, in food it happens as in cosmetics, we have to create the habit of reading the label of foods but not only to look for the expiration date but, above all, to know about its ingredients. When it comes to a healthy diet there are certain components or ingredients that you should avoid. Among them are refined palm oil or sunflower, white flours or eel excess salt.

Dear readers of Stop with Style, Remember that this blog is not about imposing but about sharing information so that it can be useful for them to cultivate their beauty and do so without compromising their well-being. It’s up to you to decide if you research more on each topic to put it into practice in your life or just keep going.
