Of that amount, 57 percent, or just over $ 44 million, will go to drilling activities that include technical studies performed from the date of signing the contract, the adaptation of access roads, construction of easement rental, execution of environmental management programs, implementation of the office of citizen participation, activities
of drilling as such (horizontal well and injector well) and operational viability.
The second item with the most investment in the pilot, an activity that will be done in accordance with the jurisprudence of the Council of State, corresponds to the phase of completion, to which will allocate 19.7 million dollars and in which it is included multi-stage hydraulic stimulation and fracturing in horizontal well, completion, which also includes horizontal well and injector well) and operational viability.

Another $ 12.5 million will be invested in the characterization and sizing of the site, and includes facilities for fluid handling, while $ 351,949 will be used for the abandonment and dismantling phase of the area.
The contract signed between ANH and Ecopetrol highlights, among other things, that the oil company, as a contractor and under the commitment to transparency that the research pilot must have, will have to contribute to the financing of the Transparency Center and pay to the ANH the value resulting from dividing 50 percent of the monthly operating cost of this center, between the number of pilot contracts signed by the ANH and it is estimated that there will be four.
