And Eddie Murphy says life couldn’t be better than it is now.

“I’m the most comfortable person I’ve ever had in my skin,” Hollywood star Oprah Winfrey explains on Apple TV’s The Oprah Conversation, which premieres Friday.

Murphy explained, “I feel great, optimistic and totally comfortable with Eddie. I always felt comfortable on my skin, but not like now.”

In her conversation with Murphy, Oprah talks to him about her decades of success in Hollywood and her return to standing comedy.

The acclaimed comedian was 19 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and at 21 starred in the film 48 Hours followed the following year by Trading Places.

Her other hits included the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, the comedy The Nutty Professor and her role as the voice of Donkey in the animated film series Shrek.

In 2007, Murphy was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for the Dreamgirls Oscar.

Back together: After a hiatus from filmmaking, Murphy returned to Amazon Prime's Coming 2 America this year, reuniting with his 1988 co-star Arsenio Hall for the sequel.

Murphy also reflects on what he enjoys most about being a father and grandfather.

In a teaser for Friday’s episode of The Oprah Conversation, Winfrey makes a complaint to Murphy because he seems to have never changed a diaper in his life despite being the father of ten children.

“I’ve bought a lot of diapers,” the funny man joked in response.

Last month, Murphy revealed the pride he feels from his children who are between two and 31 years old.

“I’m very blessed with my kids,” he said on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast.

I don’t have a bad seed. I have no resemblance: “Oh, you’re the only one.” I have nothing. My kids are such great, normal people, and no one is like the Hollywood guy.

The actor added: “My kids are smart and they try to do things. I’m blessed with my kids. I’m very, very lucky.
