Elsa Pataky has reflected on her decision to stop acting at the peak of her career to start a family.
Speaking to Jones magazine this week, the 44-year-old star Fast And The Furious explained that she selflessly chose to suspend her acting career after having children because her husband of superstar Chris Hemsworth, of 37 years old, could focus on making movies.
“I decided to focus on them and put my career aside, do little things here and there and try to be happy with it, even though it was my passion and I loved what I was doing,” said the mother of said three.

However, as Chris’s career flourished, Elsa couldn’t help but feel jealous.
“It was hard at times, because you see the person you love doing what you’re passionate about, you see them making movies and I wish you could too,” he confessed.
“But because of my family I didn’t want to shoot anywhere else and it was Chris’ time; I let him know I could do what I had to do and that we will continue,” Elsa added.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Elsa was famous for playing Elena Neves in the franchise The Fast and the Furious, as well as starring in popular films such as Snakes on a Plane (2006) and Give ‘Me Hell, Malone (2009).
She married Australian choir Chris in 2010, a year after separating from her former actor Adrien Brody.
Elsa and Chris now share three children, eight-year-old daughter India Rose, and six-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan, and live in a $ 30 million mansion near Byron Bay.
