Cities: Skylines is free today for one day. Epic Games has started the holiday sale offering a free game every day for 15 days, and City Sim: Skylines is first on the list. The game is available for free in the Epic Games store today, December 18, until 9:30 p.m., after which players will have to pay for it. The Epic Games holiday sale began on December 17 and will offer a different free game every 24 hours. The only warning is that players have no way of knowing what will come the next day.
Cities: Skylines is the first of 15 free games that Epic plans to offer its users through the Epic Games store. The game was released in 2015 and has recently gone on sale at the Epic store. It has received “Positively Overwhelming” reviews on Steam. It is a city simulation game where players have to create and maintain a real city, taking into account all the difficulties involved.
To remind you, Cities: Skylines is only available for free until 9:30 pm IST today. When not on sale, the game is priced at Rs. 709 at the Epic store and Rs. 729 on Steam. To download the game from the Epic store, all you need is a free account that can be created here.
All free games offered by Epic during the sale period will be available for 24 hours and will then be replaced by the next game. But it’s not a free game every day, Epic Games Store Holiday Sale also offers deals with up to 75% off some titles. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (Review) is on sale for Rs. 2,489, which represents a 17% discount on its retail price of Rs. 2,999. Immortals: Fenyx Rising (Review) has a 33% discount and will apply to Rs. 2009. Stars Wars squads have a 40% discount and you can buy it for Rs. 1,499.
