Eréndira Ibarra confesses that she was raped by an actor

Eréndira Ibarra, Actress of the series “Sense 8” and “Les Aparicio” broke the silence and use his social media to reveal that he was abused and raped by an actor and that after that one of the productions in which she participated forced her to work with her aggressor.

After Nath Camps uploaded a video on her YouTube channel in which she notes that fellow youtuber Rix sexually abused her, the actress was inspired by the young woman’s courage, armed herself with courage and used her Instagram account to confess that she also suffered an assault.

Ibarra explained in a letter, which was accompanied by images where texts can be read in support of women who have been raped by a man, and reveal about how it was that she lived inside the set while being in front of her rapist and that the production team, direction and even her acting agency did nothing to help her.

At first, the actress was blunt in writing that on her social network she does not overlap with rapists regardless of whether they are family, friends and parents, after which she made the most painful confession:

“They have abused me, I have seen abuse first hand happen in front of my eyes and ENOUGH. Never again will an abusive person benefit from my silence,” he noted.

After that, Ibarra was crumbling what he had to endure while working alongside the actor, to whom he referred that he is renowned in the medium and that he “cynically” brags in front of him as if not nothing would have happened.

The actress said that he was throwing his hand at the production with a small role and that is why they were not going to look for another actress two weeks before starting with something that happened a long time ago and therefore it was his shambles and his silence or being left with nothing.

Given the response of the production, it was the women in the set who supported and protected her during the anxiety attacks they gave him inside the campers.

“I was hugged by the indifference of the production and all the people around it, knowing I had done it (and surely many others). My lawyer and sister was the only one who listened to me, but the reaction of all the people paralyzed me.

“Having to tell my parents was the craziest thing. We formulated a letter so he wouldn’t approach me, he replied with a confidentiality clause (and if you’re reading this I want you to know that he never signed it) the letter was on a desk and he strolled quietly through the set AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED, “he wrote.

After continuing with his description of what he lived through at the time, Ibarra said that after finishing the project the taste he had left was satisfactory for the work he did, but noted that for her the producer and all the people involved have a giant arrow in their head because they didn’t care about their situation and that’s why they will never forget it.

“I share this story because what we women and diverse people live at the hands of gender-based violence in this country is unsustainable. Now I let Todes know: if your aggressor is my ‘friend’ in networks let me know, I BELIEVE YOU. And I won’t turn my back on you or overlap your aggressor. WE’RE GOING TO THROW IT. That’s a fact. #NuncaMasSolas “, he finished.
