Lil Nas X “challenges logic”
Lil Nas X, star of last year’s most enjoyable commercial (a Doritos dance with Sam Elliott and Sam Elliott’s mustache) returns with Logitech this year with less bewilderment. The Old Town Road singer, who presents a series of technological color adjustments, boasts futuristic creators who “defy logic” in the images of various young artists, illustrators, an incredible makeup artist and musicians. I’m not sure Logitech, the brand of my 2005 webcam, can be great, but these people sure are.

Winner of American youth poet Amanda Gorman, 22, the performance of her poem The Hill We Climb drew universal praise at President Joe Biden’s inauguration last month, reciting another stunning original work to honor three heroes: Trimaine Davis, educator, Suzie Dorner, a nurse, and James Martin, a Navy veteran. The NFL named the trio honorary captains of the Super Bowl.

(@TheAmandaGorman)Poetry at the Super Bowl is a feat for art and our country, because it means we are thinking imaginatively about the human connection even when we feel overwhelmed. I will honor three heroes who exemplify the best of this endeavor. Here it is for them, for poetry, and for #Super Bowl like no other 💛

The game is heavily sponsored by this YouTube document and without wanting to look like a negative Nancy, here’s our two-star review.

Two contrasting styles, two very different voices, an unlikely Super Bowl pair: country star Eric Church and R&B queen Jazmine Sullivan came together to make a stimulating rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that literally had both fists in a gender cross another NFL message of American unity.

Stripe and the last dragon
Disney’s first drop of the night for another film offer a cross-platform release at the Mulan with Disney + customers able to spend stupid money to see a movie at home that was meant for the cinema. It sounds like a lower-level Disney, more like The Good Dinosaur, but it’s another vital step in a more diverse direction with a voice cast that includes Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Benedict Wong, and Sandra Oh.

The talented HER sings America the Beautiful as if it were a song from his new album, distinctive and full of personality, a nice start to the night. Maybe we can all play his songs while football happens?
Video on the way when it’s over. Jazmine Sullivan next. Deal by deal.

Exciting news for anyone who has ever heard the voice of Jazmine Sullivan: she will perform the national anthem alongside country singer Eric Church. It’s a strange duet on paper (and only the second in Super Bowl history), but let’s wait and see how it goes. Reports suggest the performance will reflect their “visions”.
Also exciting: the excellent HER will play America the Beautiful. Then we can all separate until the ad is served.

50 Cent is back in hot water (practically lives in a giant tank) after hosting a maskless party on Friday night in Florida. The rapper staged a recreational coup on a hanger at St. Petersburg Private Airport and the mayor is unhappy:
Rick Kriseman
(@Kriseman)That’s not how we should celebrate the Super Bowl. He is neither safe nor smart. It’s stupid. Let’s take a closer look, and it can end up costing someone more than 50 cents. @TMZhttps://t.co/Vrvg8fTdBB
He’s not the only one who might have to face fines with other celebrities who are rumored to be committing such misdemeanors without any masks this weekend.
Dr. Fauci has advised people to avoid huge meetings this weekend (especially for you, it makes sense!)
“I mean, watch the Super Bowl on TV, enjoy it.” He said. “Have a party at your house with your family and the people who are there. But you don’t want parties with people you don’t have too much contact with, you just don’t know if they’re infected. So as difficult as it is, at least this time, you just have to put it down and cool it down. “

Super Bowl commercial breaks are usually packed with some of the most exciting new trailers of the year, but, as might be expected given the state of the industry right now, things will be a little different tonight.
Nine new spots were seen last year (especially for films yet to be released), but Deadline reports that there may be five just later. Because cinemas are still open in most of the United States, release dates are still up in the air, so studios are reluctant to spend an estimated $ 5.5 million in a 30-second take.
What is known is that we will see our first real look at the new thriller Old Night by M Night Shyamalan (which has been teasing on Twitter all week), Amazon will share more of the long-awaited sequel to Eddie Murphy Coming 2 America film they acquired from Paramount, which will be in theaters tonight) and Disney will push some unconfirmed titles (rumors suggest that its TV show Loki could get a place).

The party has already begun! Miley Cyrus has entertained a digital audience and a crowd of front-line workers vaccinated with a “TikTok Tailgate” party singing lots of her hits with the help of Billy Idol.
“Thank you so much! Welcome to TikTok Tailgate for everyone. This is my first show in about a year, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to do it than in Tampa, surrounded by health heroes,” he said. “We are very grateful for you and for all your diligence. And for that, we’re going to play really hard! ”
