After months of rumors, Apple has celebrated today the long-awaited September event to announce the iPhone 13. In addition to the iconic announcements of the iPhone, today’s event “California streaming” also meant the presentation of the ‘Apple Watch Series 7, a new iPad mini, and more. iPad 9
Today we started things with the introduction of a new entry-level iPad, which marks its ninth generation update. The new iPad works with Apple’s B13ic A13 processor inside, which according to the company provides a 20% increase in performance. With this update, the entry-level iPad is now 6 times faster than the best-selling Android tablet and 3 times faster than the best-selling Chromebook.
In terms of design, the new iPad is largely the same as its predecessor with a 10.2-inch design. A notable change, however, is that True Tone display technology is now available on the entry-level iPad. This feature adjusts the contents of the screen to the color temperature of a room. The iPad 9 has also added a new Ultra Wide front face with support for the Center Stage feature, which automatically traverses the camera to keep users in sight as they move.
Apple has also doubled the base storage settings from 32GB to 64GB for the same starting price of $ 329. The new ninth-generation iPad is available to order today and the first shipments will begin arriving next Friday, September 24th.
iPad mini

Apple Watch Series 7
After the iPad part of today’s event, Apple moved to the Apple Watch and officially unveiled the Apple Watch Series 7. Contrary to rumors, the Apple Watch Series 7 features a design similar to its predecessor, with rounded edges instead of flat edges. The 7 Series is compatible with all previous Apple Watch bands.
However, the Apple Watch Series 7 is available in new sizes of 41 and 45 mm, as rumors had predicted. This means you’ll get bigger screens on both models, and Apple says the frames are 40% smaller, which leads to a 20% increase in screen size.
Other notable improvements include 33% faster loading speeds, with Apple now taking 45 minutes to go from 0 to 80%. This new charging method will use USB-C and the current magnetic charging disc.
Finally, in terms of finishes, the Apple Watch Series 7 is available in five different colors of aluminum: green, blue, red, starlight and silver. The colors of stainless steel and titanium do not change from the 6 series: silver, graphite, gold, natural and space black.
Unfortunately, there is still no official release date for the new Apple Watch. Apple Watch Series 7 will be available “later this fall” according to Apple, meaning it could be available sometime in October, November or December.
iPhone 13
Apple completed the event by officially announcing its new iPhone 13 line, which consists of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. In terms of design, here things are quite similar to the iPhone 12, but the notch has a width about 20% smaller.
