In preparation for this, Nintendo has just unveiled a new collector’s edition for Japan. It contains the two games in a single cartridge, which includes a 174-page art book, showing the character and conceptual art of the remake. It also includes design documents for the original versions, which date back to 1988 and 1989.
There are reissues of the promotional flyers for the original game, along with a 75-song soundtrack, which contains tracks from the Famicom / NES version. There are still no words in a Western version for this collector’s edition, but we’ll keep you updated if that changes.
