A Wisconsin pharmacist who ruined hundreds of coronavirus vaccines because he feared they would harm people also told researchers he believes the Earth is flat, according to a new report.
Steven Brandenburg, 46, pleaded guilty last month to a couple of “reckless attempts to handle consumer products out of disregard for the risk of another person being in danger of death or personal injury” after prosecutors they said it spoiled hundreds of people. Modern coronavirus vaccines.
An overnight pharmacist at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Washington, told researchers he believes the Earth is flat and the sky is not real, according to the Washington Post.
The Post reported, citing court records, that Brandenburg told authorities the sky is a “government shield to prevent people from seeing God.”
Hospital officials initially said they believed a human error led to the removal of more than 50 vials of the Modern vaccine from a freezer that kept them viable.
Prosecutors finally determined that Brandenburg had removed the roads on Dec. 24 and 25, according to a court document.
“Brandenburg was very committed to conspiracy theories,” a pharmacy technician told law enforcement.
Brandenburg’s license has been suspended and he is due to return to court on February 9.
