SUNRISE, Fla. – FBI agents took part in a shooting Tuesday morning while serving an order at Sunrise, authorities confirmed.
Sky 10 was above the northwest area of 44th Street and North Nob Hill Highway, while FBI agents and police officers from various jurisdictions, including Sunrise, Davie, Miramar and Fort Lauderdale, went widen the neighborhood.
Otisha Browning-Smith, a spokeswoman for the Sunrise Police Department, said FBI agents were following an order when shots were fired.
The spokesman said a person was barricaded inside a house and that paramedics were called to the scene.
An FBI representative confirmed that there were injuries as a result of the shooting, but declined to give further information at this time. Two sources familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News that FBI agents were shot.
Although authorities did not confirm any deaths, a forensic doctor was spotted arriving at the scene shortly before 8:30 p.m.

A Davie police department sergeant told Local 10 News that his units only helped in the matter and did not take the lead in the investigation.
The sergeant said no Davie officer was involved in the shooting or was injured during the incident.
Nob Hill Road has been closed from Northwest 44th Street to West Oakland Park Boulevard in both directions.
