FBI: Nashville terrorist sent material to “acquaintances”

Authorities say the man who detonated a Christmas Day bomb in downtown Nashville had sent materials about his views to people he knew across the country.

In a statement to The Associated Press, FBI Special Agent Jason Pack said authorities are “aware that the suspect sent materials defending his views to various acquaintances across the country.”

Authorities say Anthony Warner, 63, was responsible for the blast, which damaged dozens of buildings and injured several people. Warner died in the blast and officials have not revealed any reason.

Pack did not disclose additional details about the contents of the Warner packages, but urged anyone who had received Warner material to contact the FBI at 800-CALL-FBI.
