Barcelona defender Jordi Alba he has admitted that he understands why people oppose him so much in an honest interview.
Discussing the reactions to him and how the fans treat them, he opened up.
“It’s clear that people know me for football, I think I’m one of the most hated football players, I know that,” Alba explained, speaking to El Dia Despres on Movistar +.
“It’s my way of playing and that has made me the player I am today and puts me where I am now.
“Then people know me and know how I am, a very humble person and I value everything in my life.
“Jordi the player is nothing like Jordi the human or Jordi with his teammates.
“It’s true that I’m very upset by the way I play and I understand the hatred that people who don’t know me give me.”
