Federal agencies arrested nine people this morning after culminating an investigation into fraud in the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Program (PUA, for the acronym in English),

This would be the first time federal agencies have executed arrests in Puerto Rico by the PUA.
The arrests were made following a determination made by a grand federal jury last week.
The spokeswoman for Federal Research Office (FBI, in English), Limary Ruby Cross, has indicated to this medium that arrest warrants are separate and the nine people are adults.
For the investigation of the case involved the Federal Treasury Department, the Department of Labor and Human Resources, the United States Postal Service, and the Office of the Inspector General in Puerto Rico.
