It was a difficult year for health workers, so when the Boston Medical Center received its first corona virus vaccine, it provided a rare moment of happy catharsis.
Dressed in masks, masks and medical attire, PMC staff danced on Liso’s “Good as Hell” sidewalk to celebrate childbirth, an energetic and advanced anthem that became a sleeper hit in the days before the epidemic.
Kate Walsh, the center’s PMC president, shared a clip of the staff dancing on Twitter New Dictoc account.
“Why I like my job [at Boston Medical Center]! ”Walsh wrote.
Why I like my job_The_BMC! Groups of people working to distribute vaccines safely and evenly to their leading colleagues who are encouraged by their friends to celebrate the arrival of vaccines! A great day, a great place. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/XfrIthFIY5

Boston Medical Center received 1,950 doses of Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine on Monday and plans to give the shots to staff Wednesday. Thousands of staff are expected to receive the shot by this weekend, while other area hospitals expect shipments to arrive by Tuesday.
Leading healthcare professionals who treat COVID-19 directly will have a higher priority in getting shot during the first phase of Massachusetts release. Other health workers can then receive the vaccine in the first phase.
