the United Nations (UN) announced through the latest edition of the World Happiness Report 2021 the happiest countries in the world despite the covid-19 pandemic.
The variables used to determine the level of happiness of the population of these countries range from the comparison ofl Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita, social assistance, life expectancy, individual freedoms and the perception against corruption.
The first places are occupied, for the most part, by the European countries of the Nordic region. Below is the list:
